I will share you the difference between the sublimation printing and UV printing. Read the following and get to know which printing solution is more suitable for you.

Ink for Printing
  The first side for introduce is the printing inks. We all know every printing solution can not leave the inks. Then do you know the difference between the sublimation ink and the UV ink? 
  Sublimation ink also call heat transfer ink, it is used for the printing products, the transfer ink will be show on the fabric after heat transfer by the high temperature, so it is very necessary material on heat transfer business.

  UV inks dry through a photo mechanical process. The inks are exposed to ultra-violet lights as they are printed, immediately turning from a liquid to a solid with very little evaporation of solvents.
  The biggest difference between the sublimation ink and the UV ink is that the sublimation ink can permeate into the sublimation paper and the textiles directly. While the UV ink almost no absorption of the ink into the paper stock.

Printing Process
  Sublimation printing always be combined with the sublimation transfer. People mostly print the patterns they want onto the sublimation paper and then the patterns can be transferred from the sublimation paper onto the heat transfer machine. In the whole process, after you print the patterns onto the sublimation paper successfully, sometime you need to wait a minute so that the inks printed onto the paper can get dry.

  While the UV printing uses ultra-violet lights to dry or cure ink as it is printed.As the printer distributes ink on the surface of a material (called a "substrate"), specially designed UV lights follow close behind Originally developed for quickly drying gel nail polishes during manicures, ultraviolet light applications quickly expanded into industrial and commercial markets.

Environmental
 Another factor that we need to take care is the environment. The UV ink have a high drying speed. But sometimes  if the ink cannot be dried totally, it will do harm to human bodies. Then from the side of the adhesion of the inks, the sublimation ink may be better. Because the UV ink can not permeate into the printing materials. And if you use it for the clothes or T-shirt produce, it can do harm to our health. 

Application
  Just from the factor above we can see that the sublimation printing can mostly be used for the textile, fabric printing and transferring. You can use it for the T-shirt, sportswear or the home interior produce. 
  While the UV printing can be used for the various printing effects with special treatments such as refraction and grinding.
