Laser Cutting Machine Overview

History of the Laser
The principle of laser was first theorized by physicist Albert Einstein in 1917 when he described his theory of stimulated emission. In 1960, the first working laser was described as "a solution looking for a problem." It was in short order, and with some creative thinking, the laser's distinctive qualities were being found to have numerous applications. The laser's power to produce an intense, very narrow beam of light from a single orientation was being captured for science, technology, and medicine. Today, lasers are everywhere--from research laboratories at the cutting edge of quantum physics to medical clinics, supermarket checkouts and even the telephone network.

Special Commercial Utilizations
With the correct laser power settings, the industrial laser can cut cleanly through mild steel to 0.75 inch, 0.5 inch of stainless, as well as aluminum, bronze, and titanium. Industrial laser cutting machines are the fastest machining process for flat sheet and plate materials. With the utilization of high intensity light surrounded by a high-pressure gas, many geometric complex contours can be manufactured without the need of hard tooling. A by-product of these laser cutting procedures, edge quality rarely needs secondary processing.

Advantages of Laser Cutting Machine
The manufacturing industry claims the edge finish is far superior when compared to a punched product. The requirement of complex shapes can be produced without expensive tooling. There is a much larger range of materials that can be cut. But most importantly, the speed is normally faster than other profile cutting methods.

Following is a video showing you the working process of laser cutting machine.

How to DIY Your Own Mug by Sublimation ?

Digital mug heat press machines are used to transfer designs and decorate mugs. These machines use a digital control system combined with heat to press images on many types of mugs of various sizes and material.Today I am going to share with you the processes of getting a mug designed by yourself.

NOTE:Mugs are supposed to withstand temperatures up to 330 degrees Celsius, including coated ceramic mugs, metal mugs and metal bottles.

STEPS:
1.Choose the photo you are going to transfer onto your mug and print it(using sublimation inkonto sublimation paper(mirror mode),and then trim the sides to fit the mug.
2.Place the mug in the press machine. Adjust the height and pressure to fit your mug appropriately.
3.Set the temperature at around 220 degrees Celsius.
4.Set the time at around 20 seconds.5.The temperature will start to rise. Once the selected temperature is reached, the buzzer will sound. Press the "OK" button again and the timer will begin counting down. When the buzzer sounds again, the process is finished.
6.Take out the mug and remove the transfer paper; the image has been transferred to the mug.

The following video will help you better understand the steps.

How to Transfer Images onto 100% Cotton T-shirt ІI

Images can be transferred to your cotton cloth either by iron or heat transfer machine. In my last blog, I introduced the details of how to transfer images onto dark T-shirts.Since there are some differences between dark T-shirt transfer and light T-shirt transfer, these two types of paper require separate introduction and today I'm going to introduce the process of light T-shirt transfer.

Instructions

1. Mirror/flip your image before you print.
2.Print the image onto the MATT side of the transfer paper.
3.Leave the image to dry for about 10 minutes and then cut off the unprinted part.
Transfer Instructions (for heat press machines)
-Preheat the heat press machine and set the temperature at around 180℃
-Preheat the fabric for a few seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture.
-Place the cut paper on the fabric with the printed side facing down.
-Heat for 15-30 seconds, then peel off the base paper immediately.
Transfer Instructions (for irons)
-Heat your iron (empty water) to maximum cotton setting for 3 minutes;
-Lay fabric on a hard, smooth surface.
-Place the cut paper on the fabric with printed side facing down.
-Place the heated iron on the paper for no more than 15 seconds to fix the image onto the fabric.
- Iron for a further 60 seconds (maximum) evenly with slow circling movements from edge to edge ensuring heat is evenly transferred over the entire area.
-Peel off the base paper immediately.

Here I'd like to share with you the video of ironing on light T-shirt.
